Hello, and thank you for joining me on my blog. I’m a Gen X wife, mother, and vice president at a company, navigating the complexities of life like many of you. Recently, I’ve found myself frustrated and saddened with the current political climate, especially the current administration. This frustration has ignited a desire within me to speak out and share my voice. Sometimes, my voice feels silenced in the noise of everyday life and divisive social media.

As a Christian, I hold deep values of compassion and grace for all our fellow human beings. My journey has led me to transition from a right-leaning independent to a more left-leaning perspective. This change was largely influenced by my work volunteering at food banks and homeless ministries. The more I engage with those in need, the more I am convinced of the necessity for human decency. It must outweigh the fear of people “taking advantage” of the System. It’s a shift that has reshaped my understanding of social justice and the importance of supporting one another.

My current mantra, “radicalized by common decency,” reflects my commitment to treating others with kindness. I am determined to respect others even in the face of adversity. I aim to create a space through this blog where I can express my thoughts. It’s also a place to share my experiences and connect with others who feel similarly voiceless.
